Cross Lutheran's Mission Statement
Connecting the generations to build Christian community: God's work - our hands.
..."And now, may the One who helps us when we refuse to give up, help all of you to live in peaceful harmony with each other, each with the attitude of Christ Jesus toward the other. Thus united, and with singleness of purpose, let us demonstrate to everyone the kindness of God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore make sure that you warmly welcome each other into the church, just as Christ had warmly welcomed you, for this is the way God is glorified." Romans 15:5-7
A message from our pastor...
"I ask that you join me in my prayer that this congregation may help us all to live according to the Apostle Paul's admonition to his beloved church in Rome. In all the world, what is as necessary, beautiful or life-giving as love for the neighbor? Right here in the local congregation, we have an opportunity to truly live the faith we confess - to show compassion, to give and receive mercy, to witness to Christ's way of a just peace. This is challenge enough for a lifetime! It is a privileged calling and a noble cause for which to live and die. God bless and strengthen you inwardly as you determine to live in the power of Christ's resurrection, reaching out to your world in love."
